How does CrateSavvy work?

Choose the crate package that best fits your move, select your delivery and pickup dates, and we will deliver clean, ready-to-pack crates directly to you. Once your move is complete, we return to pick them up—no cardboard boxes to buy, tape, assemble, break down, or dispose of.

How far in advance should I reserve my crates?

We recommend reserving your crates as early as possible, especially for weekends, the end of the month, and peak moving season. Last-minute reservations may be available depending on inventory.

What areas do you serve?

CrateSavvy serves Brookland, Jonesboro, Paragould, Bay, Lake City, Bono, and surrounding Northeast Arkansas communities. Delivery outside our standard service area may be available for an additional fee.

Are delivery and pickup included?

Delivery and pickup are included within our standard service area. Additional charges may apply for locations outside the service area, difficult access, or special delivery requests.

How long can I keep the crates?

Each package includes a set rental period. Additional weeks may be added for an extra charge, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if your moving schedule changes.

What size are the crates?

Our extra-large reusable moving crates measure approximately **27 inches long, 17 inches wide, and 12 inches high**. Each crate provides about **18.75 gallons of packing space**, making it a practical size for books, dishes, kitchen items, clothing, décor, office supplies, and many other household belongings.

How much weight can each crate hold?

Each crate can safely hold up to approximately **100 pounds** when packed and stacked properly. For easier lifting and safer moving, we recommend distributing heavy items among several crates instead of filling one crate to its maximum weight.

How many crates fit on a dolly?

Up to **five loaded crates** can be stacked on one CrateSavvy dolly. The crates are designed to stack securely, allowing you to roll several crates at once instead of carrying individual boxes.

Do I need packing tape?

No. Our crates have attached, hinged lids that close securely, so there is no need to buy tape or spend time assembling and sealing cardboard boxes.

Are the crates waterproof?

The crates are durable and water-resistant, helping protect your belongings from dust, dirt, light rain, and everyday moving conditions. They are not intended to be submerged or left outdoors during heavy rain.

Are the crates cleaned between customers?

Yes. Every crate, bag, blanket, and dolly is inspected, cleaned and sanitized before delivery so your rental arrives fresh, tidy, and ready to use.

What should I not pack in the crates?

Please do not pack hazardous materials, flammable liquids, chemicals, weapons, illegal items, live animals, wet items, or anything that could leak or damage the crates. Important documents, medications, jewelry, cash, and other irreplaceable valuables should remain with you during the move.

What are the moving bags used for?

Our Savvy Moving Bags are ideal for lightweight, bulky items such as comforters, pillows, blankets, linens, towels, clothing, and stuffed animals. Heavy, sharp, or breakable items should be packed in the crates instead.

Can I add more crates or supplies to my order?

Yes, additional crates, moving bags, dollies, labels, and other available add-ons may be added to your reservation while supplies last.

What happens if a crate is damaged or missing?

Customers are responsible for crates, dollies, and accessories during the rental period. Replacement charges may apply for equipment that is lost, stolen, returned excessively damaged, or not available at the scheduled pickup.

What if I am not finished by my pickup date?

Contact us as soon as you know you need more time. We will make every effort to extend your rental, but extensions depend on availability and may include an additional weekly charge.

Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?

Someone should normally be present unless another arrangement has been approved in advance. Crates should be empty, clean, stacked, and ready for pickup at the agreed location.

Can the crates be used for business or office moves?

Yes. CrateSavvy crates are excellent for offices, small businesses, classrooms, college students, home organization projects, renovations, and temporary storage during a move.

Why rent reusable crates instead of buying cardboard boxes?

Reusable crates are sturdy, stackable, easy to roll, and ready to use as soon as they arrive. They help reduce packing time, eliminate piles of used cardboard, and provide more protection than many traditional moving boxes.
